Welcome to the Club of the North, a club that has the biggest and most successful youth section in the region and probably the country.

Hockey is a popular and family orientated sport, played by male and female, old and young.  At Ben Rhydding the heartbeat of the game is within a thriving club structure where the hockey community is as important as the game itself.

There are opportunities at the club to receive quality coaching that meets the needs of every player from the young beginner to the elite international.  With England Hockey’s ‘Single System’ in place, a player pathway is very clear and accessible.  At Ben Rhydding, young players can develop to meet their needs and potential as an individual but also are able to be part of teams that match their ability and aspirations from development stage right up to elite performance.

Ben Rhydding is a sociable and friendly club.  The clubhouse bar and dining areas are usually more heavily populated than the pitch!
